Built in 1977 out of Peaks of Otter stone, we opened as a B&B on July 1, 2003 with four guest rooms. PebbleStone Cottage and Conference Center was added in 2004. We host all types of special events: 2-200 guests. Come enjoy LoveStone Inn, our French Country retreat, located on beautiful Smith Mountain Lake in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Southwest Virginia. Pamper your senses by walking in the gardens of LoveStone Inn’s six acres. Boating, swimming from our sand beach, and enjoying our luxurious Bed & Breakfast are wonderful ways to spend your time at Smith Mountain Lake. The atmosphere carries you away to a romantic time and place. Dawn Spencer & Tom Zirkelbach will welcome you, with true Southern hospitality, on the deck overlooking Smith Mountain and the lake. You’ll have a front row seat to enjoy our famous Sunrises and Sunsets.

Your guestroom is appointed with beautiful antiques and the finest European down linens. The Smith Mountain area offers many dining choices or your host can prepare a very special Chef’s Choice dinner, served in your room or on the porch.

Enjoy the hot tub or a starlight cruise on the Love Barge. Perhaps the Smith Mountain State Park just 1/2 half mile away is featuring a concert or nature hike. You may prefer to visit historical sites to immerse yourself in the area’s rich heritage. How about a round of golf or horse back riding, followed by a massage in your room? Spring Garden

$125 per night*

Two twin beds or one King bed with private hall bath. Picket fence post head boards are fun and cheerful. Perfect for teenage children or two quests wishing separate beds.

Summer Rose

$160 per night*

Queen bed with private bath facing lake on lower level. White and pink wicker and shabby chic decor offer coziness and easy access to recreation room and hot tub.

PebbleStone

$250 per night*

Queen size bed and two twin beds in stone cottage with full bath and all season room. Full kitchen and laundry facilities. Five nights minimum stay required. Children accepted.

Winter Hideaway

$125 per night*

Queen bed with private hall bath facing the lake. Beautiful green and burgundy decor with rich antique mahogany and brass furniture.

Autumn Haze

$180 per night*

King bed with private bath and screen porch overlooking Smith Mountain and the Lake. The decor is in the warm gold and rust of our fall on the lake.
